About the Job

We are looking for a talented Advanced Analytics associate with strong communication, project management, data analysis and data interpretation skills.

You will own, coordinate, and conduct analytic projects aimed at increasing retailer’s sales in USA and Canada. You will manage and support a team and work with data, SQL code and NIQ tools. You will closely collaborate with the Customer Success and Support teams to lead execution of projects that will shape pricing decisions of today’s leading retailers.

You will become point of contact for key stakeholders from across the organization and a subject matter expert that will be able to explain methodology and commercial implications coming from configuring Retail Pricing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise work of a small team of Analysts that are working with SQL, Excel and NielsenIQ tools. As well as manage and facilitate communication between Analysts, Consumer Success, Support, and Tech teams.
  • Be accountable for error-free, on-time results internally and to retailer clients in US and Canada, as well as be hands on involved in some ad hoc requests or custom productions.
  • Support Analysts when they encounter more difficult issues and help them maintain and improve good relations with the Customer Success team.
  • Work closely with different teams to support BAU and new sales.
  • Conduct issue-based analyses, data checks, and improve data assurance processes.
  • Detect opportunities to automate, develop and enhance tools and processes. Recommend actions, create a plan, and track implementation.
  • Cooperate with Technology teams to resolve tickets and work on new enhancements.

About you

We’re looking for someone who likes to work with people, but also with data, calculations, and codes. Who can communicate clearly and efficiently. Manage and coordinate tasks, time and deadlines. Who is a Servant Leader type that believes in leading by example, empowers employees and supports them. You are curious and are interested in identifying the narratives behind numbers and logical connections between the numbers.

Qualifications

Must Have

Hard Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Management or Marketing.
  • 4 - 6 years of relevant work experience in Data Analytics, Business and/or Management.
  • SQL and Excel: Intermediate-advanced
  • English level: proficiency

Soft Skills

  • Ability to effectively manage time, tasks, workload, and deadlines for self and the team.
  • Detail oriented; analytical and problem-solving.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to identify, diagnose and offer solutions.
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.

Preferable

  • NielsenIQ data knowledge, experience with NielsenIQ analytics like Price & Promotion is a plus.
  • International work experience would be an asset.
