Who are we?
At ING, we aim to become the best mobile-led bank on the continent. The Tribe Digital, Assisted & Customer Interactions is responsible for achieving the digital sales objectives and for further developing all digital interactions with customers. With over 70 data analysts and scientist, we ensure to accelerate the transition towards becoming a fully data-driven organization. We work in multi-disciplinary teams, while being allocated as data consultants both internally as to other departments.

In order to increase our analytical capabilities, we’re looking for a passionate data analyst who wants to improve service and product offerings. By understanding our customer’s actions, behaviours and products you deliver high impact and tangible insights. As a data analyst:
You are passionate about making impact, based on data
You generate extremely personal and relevant customer interactions, by doing smart analyses
You have a broad interest in data: Collecting, analysing, experimenting and visualizing it.
You identify new data and analytics related opportunities
You contribute to maintain and further improve the fact-based culture within ING
Are you addicted to data and ready to make impact? Do you enjoy solving problems and eager to develop yourself? Then we are looking for you!
Your competencies and experience
A master’s degree in the field of analytics, mathematics or econometrics
You have experience with querying languages (e.g., SQL, SAS), and preferably also with dashboarding tools (e.g., Cognos, PowerBI)
You are analytically strong and have experience in making analyses and sharing results with impact
You are able to transform data into insights, and present them in an understandable way
You have a do-it-yourself mentality, and you like to quickly learn and apply new techniques
You are customer-oriented and have experience in using customer and other data to substantiate your decisions
You can manage stakeholders without any problems, at different levels, both data lovers and non data experts
You actively ask for help and feedback and you dare to give feedback
Experience with the agile way of working is beneficial for this role
