Data Analyst - Internship

We are looking for a data analytics intern to join our team in Valencia!

Job description
 

This internship is a position in the center of a young, international, and thriving company, an opportunity to learn and understand how all aspects of business works. You will be working in the Analytics Squad, department in charge of creating reports for all the company, maintaining the integrity of the data, and creating tools to simplify the work.

This opportunity is a great way to learn from first-hand experience how a real company works and behaves, and what are the skills needed to face any business data requirements.

Outcomes to be accomplished 

Outcome 1 : Provide accurate and useful reports for the Operations departments

• Investigation: ”Understand the requesters needs and the business conditions” 
• Delivery: “Create accurate, relevant, and visually appealing dashboards”

Outcome 2 : Maintain the data integrity of the company

• Monitoring: “Find and monitor data integrity problems”
• Investigation: “Track the source of the issue and work with the responsibles to fix it”
• Data manipulation: “Clean, format, repair, merge the affected data”

Outcome 3 : Create tools for easier data managing 

• Investigation: “Understand the companies data structure and its issues”
• Delivery: “Create tools to improve: 
  • the delivery rate of the team
  • the efficiency of the data processes
  • the data issues management”

Profile

You’re studying in one of the best business or engineering schools, Sciences Po Paris or university equivalent and recognize yourself in the following:
 

• Technical skills: Python, SQL, BI Tools, Data Engineering theory, Excel, GitHub, and similar skills
• An academic relevant degree, no experience needed
• Perfect level in English is required, spanish is a plus

Terms and conditions 

• Type of contract: Internship
• Location: Madrid or Valencia 
• Range salary: from 1000 - 1200€ depending on qualifications 
• Desired start date : June 2024
• Duration: minimum 3 months
