Junior Product Analyst / Data Analyst

Join us as a Junior Product Analyst/ Data Analyst in our Product & Market Insights team and help us chart the course to innovation and growth. This is a very dynamic role that will have you wearing multiple hats throughout your week. You could be the technical master working side by side with data engineers, the visualization master that builds out dashboards for internal insights, or the product guru that helps shape the products we offer in a data driven way.

Your mission 

• Collaborate with our team and stakeholders from Product and other departments of SoSafe in identifying strategic opportunities and answer key business questions derived from them. 
• Ensure these questions are answered in an optimal fashion (e.g. in the form of an ad hoc deep-dive, dashboard, or automatically recurring analysis). 
• Partner with Product Engineers to enhance our data tools and processes, ensuring that data insights are accessible and actionable. 
• Contribute together with our team on executing high-value strategic and tactical initiatives: 

• Weekly Product Success Reviews 
• Ad-hoc analysis 
• Enable the SoSafe organization to use Product Data 

• Educate and equip stakeholders to independently utilize data for deriving business insights, using self-service analytics and visualization tools like Amplitude and Tableau. 

Your profile 

• You have completed/are completing an outstanding degree from a top university with a focus on engineering, data science or statistics. 
• You have a proven track record of personal, academic, and professional achievements. 
• You have already completed internships in an identical role, internships in tech companies are a plus. 
• You have a strong willingness to learn / growth mindset, as well as analytical skills, attention to detail and a hands-on mentality. 
• You have intermediate level technical skills in analytics engineering practices – SQL is required, Python or other programming languages are a plus. 

• You have entry level technical knowledge on working with visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI. Tableau experience is a plus. 
• You are curious about the technology trends and data domain best practices, methodologies followed across the SaaS industry. 
• You are familiar with self-service analytics tools like Amplitude or MixPanel. 
• You can work for us for at least 12 months or longer (short breaks for exam periods or summer internships are possible). 
• You have a very good command of English. 
• You are open to an after-work drink / lemonade. 
• You can start with us as soon as possible.
