プリンシパル、データアナリストの主な業務は、Coupang Japanがビジネス上の意思決定を行うために必要なデータの質、可用性、深さに関する、効果のあるプロジェクトを複数完遂するチームをリードし育成することです。この担当者は、管理者としてビジネス感覚を駆使して、あらゆる組織階層で分析に必要な情報を利用できるようにします。また、エンジニアリングチームやプロダクトチームと密接に連携し、ビジネス目標を達成するだけでなく、会社全体のデータロードマップを設定します。さらに、Coupang Japanの成長を促進するための分析プロジェクトへの貢献度を管理しながら、会社全体の施策をサポートし、組織全体のマネージャー育成を支援します。また、データ推進者として、組織内でのアナリティクスの活用を促進します。

主な業務内容

• 経営陣のビジネス目標をデータプロジェクトに変換し、リーダーと協力してデータギャップを見つけ、それを埋めるとともに、データアナリストとデータエンジニアリングのリソースを設定された優先順位に応じて配分することで、会社のデータニーズが確実に満たされるように努めます。
• 会社のデータに関するビジョンを定義し、データの機能と品質の向上を確保することで、データの基準と使用方法を設定し維持します。
• 次のような方法で、全社的にデータ利用を推進します。
• すべてのアナリティクスを理解し、それを関係者に公表する。
• 複数のチームが関わる長期プロジェクトのロードマップを設定し、管理する。
• 役員にデータを紹介し、データの新しい利用方法を提案する。
• データチームの定例会議をリードし、データを使って可能な限りビジネスにインパクトを与え、チームメンバーの予算、計画、KPIを設定する。

応募資格

• ビジネス関係者と直接連携し、ビジネスニーズをデータに落とし込んだ経験
• Tableauまたは類似のツールを使用したデータを可視化した経験
• チームや組織のBI戦略をリードし、影響を与えた経験
• データ/BI分野での経験
• コンピュータサイエンス、数学、統計学、金融、または関連する技術分野での学位
• SQL（Linux、PHP、MySQL、AWS）、Hadoop/Hive、Microsoft Excel、およびその他のビジネスインテリジェンスツールに関する専門的な経験
• ビジネス・インテリジェンス・エンジニア／アナリストとして5年以上の経験があり、レポートを作成したり、ビジネス・ケースや計画、意思決定をバックアップするために指標やデータを使用したりした経験
• データの抽出、変換、およびデータマイニングに関する7年以上の経験
• 5年以上のクロスファンクショナルチームを含むプロジェクトでの経験
• データ可視化ソフトウェア（Tableau、QuickSight）の使用経験

望ましい資格

• 国際的な経験と、変化の速い環境で不確実な状況への対応能力
• ビジネスおよびテクノロジーなど複数の階層のリーダーと優れたコミュニケーションが取れる能力（書面および口頭）
• コンピュータサイエンス／エンジニアリングまたは関連する技術分野で修士号を取得していること

• ソフトウェア開発の原理を深く理解しており、ソフトウェアプロジェクトを管理し、期限内に納品できること
• 他のデータエンジニアやBI開発者を指導した経験があること
• さまざまな機械学習技術に関する知識

Principal, Data Analyst leads and develops teams that accomplish multiple, impactful projects related to the quality, availability, and depth of data needed by Coupang Japan to make business decisions. This person will use their managerial skills and business acumen to ensure that necessary information is available for all levels of analysis at Coupang Japan. This person will work closely with Engineering and Product teams to not only accomplish business goals, but to set the data roadmap for the entire company. Additionally, this person will oversee contributions to analytics projects designed to help drive Coupang Japan's growth, support specific initiatives from all areas of Coupang Japan, and help managers across the team and organization with their development. This person will also be a data advocate who will drive increased usage of analytics throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the company’s data needs are being made, translating executive-level business goals into data projects, partnering with leaders to find data gaps and fill them and allocate data analyst and data engineering resources with set priorities.
• Set and maintain data standards and usage through defining the company’s data vision and ensuring data capability and quality growth.
• Advocate for data usage throughout the company through the following:
• Understand all analytics and publicize to stakeholders who can use it.
• Set and manage roadmaps for long-term projects involving multiple teams.
• Showcase data to executives and suggest new ways of using data
• Regularly lead data team meetings to impact the business with data as much as possible, set budgets, plans and KPIs for the team members.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, or similar tools
• Experience leading and influencing the BI strategy of your team or organization
• Experience in the data/BI space
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related technical field
• Professional experience with SQL (Linux, PHP, MySQL, AWS), Hadoop/Hive, Microsoft Excel, and other business intelligence tools
• 5+ years of relevant experience as a business intelligence engineer/analyst, creating reports, using metrics and data to backup business cases, planning, and decisions
• 7+ years of hands on experience in data extraction, transformation, and data mining
• 5+ years of experience in projects involving cross-functional teams
• Experience with data visualization software (Tableau, QuickSight)

Preferred Qualifications

• International experience and Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication involving multiple levels of leadership on the business and technology side
• Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical discipline
• Strong business vision and fundamental knowledge on the business management functional areas (MBA degree is a plus)
• Deep understanding of software development principles, managing and delivering software projects on time
• Experience mentoring other data engineers and BI developers
• Knowledge of different Machine Learning techniques.
