Business Intelligence Analyst (f/m/d)

Business Intelligence & Support delivers operational insights for the Area of Clearstream Global Operations to support informed decision-making, contractual and regulatory compliance. The team uses data analysis and visualization tools (like MS Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint) to generate valuable insights that empower business owners to track performance effectively and make strategic decisions based on the analytics provided. By collaborating closely with business owners, the business intelligence team ensures that the information delivered is tailored to meet specific needs and objectives, enabling stakeholders to leverage data-driven insights for optimizing business operations.

As Business Intelligence Analyst you work closely with various departments to design and establish performance metrics, create regular and ad-hoc reports, and communicate results to support strategic business decisions and to drive business value.

Tasks/responsibilites

• Design insightful reports, dashboards, and other forms of data visualizations to support and recommend strategic business decisions
• Act in a consultative role working closely with different stakeholders and business owners to align and provide analytical support translating data into actionable insights chosing appropriate visualisation options
• Manage the delivery of insights end-to-end from data to dashboard using analytics and visualization tools (MS Power BI, Process Mining/ Celonis, MS Excel, Databricks etc.)

Qualifications/required skills

• Master or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven, multi-year experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills to understand business user requirements and work with IT/data management
• Experience in working with cross functional teams in multi-national corporations
• Being a pro-active team player with “can do” attitude, self-organized and target-oriented
• Proficient in MS Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint and experience with Process Mining / Celonis and Azure data technologies (Databricks)
• Knowledge of the financial services industry and Clearstream's products and services, in particular Settlement and Custody, is an asset
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; French/German language skills will be an asset
