Let’s Get Down To Business

Capco is looking for talented, innovative and creative people to join our emerging data analytics team to work on a number of projects and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Test and validate data sources, transformations, and calculations within technology risk dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to data accuracy, dashboard performance, and user experience.
  • Identify and document data lineage from source system to data model
  • Work with data owners, domain owners and product owners to ensure data being provided aligns to reporting requirements.
  • Conduct data analysis to highlight and report data inconsistencies, allowing users to review and provide feedback
  • Determine the data mapping required to join multiple data sets together across multiple sources
  • Lead and work closely with all stakeholders creating a strong culture of transparency and collaboration
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures to support dashboard development and data analysis.
  • Document processes, data sources, and technical solutions for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Must Haves  

  • Five (5) or more experience working as a Data Analyst
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex data sets and identify lineage.
  • Knowledge of data modelling concepts and database design principles.
  • Experience in troubleshooting data-related issues and optimizing dashboard performance.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure that robust communication and escalation mechanisms are in place across project

Technical capabilities

  • Ability to write SQL queries for data querying, manipulation, and analysis
  • Experience using Tableau
  • Data analysis, data profiling, data cleansing, and data quality assessment.
  • Understanding of relational databases, data warehouses, and ETL processes.

Nice to Haves

We are also looking for individuals who demonstrate the following traits:

  • Familiarity with technology risk management in financial services.
  • Certifications in SQL, Tableau, or related data analytics disciplines.
  • Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
  • Experience working with Agile methodology tools - Jira and Confluence.
  • Analyzing results of technology Key Risk Indicators.
