Role: Data Engineer

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 12 + months

Required:

• Needs someone with expert level SQL skills.
• They ask them to write SQL queries with certain criteria and will ask them to identify SQL Syntax errors in pre-written queries.
• They also mentioned some questions regarding pulling data into tables and how to organize data they are pulling.  

Description:

Be part of the systems team that manages and operates world’s largest public Wi-Fi network. The work involves analysis and performance improvement of our Xfinity Wi-Fi networks @hyperscale , using state of the art optimization techniques, machine learning, specification and use of wireless measurements, and analysis of network performance, building business insights that could help create future deployment strategy. The solutions are all implemented in the cloud, using an agile development process.

Responsibilities:

• Estimation and data filtering from raw data
• Analyzing data to discover opportunities and address gaps
• Work on Customer Experience KPI
• Work with Data Scientists for WiFi CX optimization using Machine learning including anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and reinforcement learning
• Data analysis
• Performance analysis
• Data pipeline creation
• Building business insights

Experience Must:

• 5+ years of experience in Python
• 5+ years of experience in custom ETL design, implementation and maintenance
• 5+ Experience in Database technologies, SQL, MySQL, Elastic search, Big Query, ETLs and framework development.
• 3+ year of experience with Data Modeling
• 3+ Experience working on Big Data
• 5+ Experience with data analysis and visualization, particularly Tableau, Splunk
• Designing and implementing real-time pipelines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required
• Experience with SQL performance tuning and e2e process optimization
• Experience processing large data sets
• Strong experience with Spark, Hive, Pig, Flume, Sqoop, Kafka, Amazon RDS, Amazon Redshift, GCP
• Experience with data quality and validation

Experience Desired:

• Experience with data science algorithms
• Clustering
• Anomaly detection
• Time series analysis and prediction
• Experience with WiFi optimization
• Wireless Telemetry @ hyper scale
• Experience with 802.11 MAC/PHY and LTE PHY/MAC/RLC
• Experience with real time data processing

Education Level

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

Years of Experience

• Generally requires 8-10 years related experience
