Senior Data Analyst

Data Analyst

• 6+ years of experience in Data Analysis and modelling for building models that provide business insights
• Proficient in Data quality, cleansing, blending, validations, and transformations processes
• Excellent understanding of ETL/ ELT process - Extract data from various source systems, analyze the data gaps on the DW and work with stakeholders to fix the gaps
• Experience in eliciting, analysis, and document data requirements in support of analytical, business intelligence, warehousing and other business use cases for the data platform using a range of techniques including source data analysis, documentation, interviews, and data modelling workshops
• Ability to create and maintain data models appropriate to the need and that conform to data modelling standards
• Create and maintain specifications for data transformation in both documentation and scripting
• Contribute to the definition of data dictionaries, business glossaries, and DQ Rules
• FS/ Banking domain expertise

Preferred

• Familiarity with Azure Stack - Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Bricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure DevOps
• Experience in some of the databases among Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server and languages like PL-SQL, T-SQL
• Experience in one or more BI/ visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Alteryx
• Proficient in testing models and transformation scripts to ensure they meet requirements
• Advise data engineers, visualisation developers, and other consumers of models and data specifications in the interpretation of data models and structures and the understanding of data requirements
• Participate in architecture design where appropriate and evaluate and challenge designs from adjacent data teams
• Experience with SDLC and Agile working methodologies/environment
• Self-starter with strong self-management skills, Team player, Strong oral and written communications skills
