Job Description

The VP of Data Engineering & ML Platform is a natural hands-on leader, visionary, relentless problem solver, and team builder who can build cross-functional teams and foundational data analytics cloud infrastructure that supports scalable business processes and leading edge ML platforms. As a senior leader of the engineering team, this individual will shape the vision and architecture of Curinos’s data/analytics ecosystem, spearheading democratization of data science and building a world-class data engineering & analytics team that develops data-driven products and services for financial services.

Key Responsibilities:                                                                                              Lead the Data Engineering Center of Excellence and oversee standardized development best practices in data engineering across teams.

• Own Data Architecture and Data Governance for the Curinos Data Platform to ensure data privacy, compliance, and catalog requirements are met.
• Add new capabilities to the Curinos Data Platform to meet new requirements.
• Oversee ML Framework/infrastructure to establish and standardize MDLC.
• Oversee feature engineering and standardized metric development on Data Foundation to serve multiple use cases.
• Engage with business owners and product managers to drive business impact and value creation of Curinos data assets

The salary range for this position is 210K-235K USD

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
• Proven experience leading and building data & ML engineering teams and driving data-driven product development.
• Strong knowledge of data governance and privacy regulations.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, ETL and data pipeline development.
• Experience with ML frameworks, MLOps and monitoring models in production.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in financial services industry is a plus.
• Master’s degree, preferably in computer science, or quantitative field required
