About the Role
As a data and reporting expert you’ll work alongside the People Leadership Team and People Analytics Team to create strong business narratives from data, not just surfacing data but answering the question of “So What?”
You’ll partner with people across Nuro to evangelize existing dashboards and help with the creation of new dashboards and reports to uncover powerful insights for your partners. You will play a large role in developing dashboards to better understand Nuro’s organizational health, recruiting gaps and opportunities, and define success metrics and targets.
About the Work
- Report on and evaluate key metrics for talent, diversity inclusions and belonging, and overall organizational health
- Help drive comprehensive reporting, dashboards, and educate Nurons on how to access and use this data.
- Pull, organize and clean, and combine structured and unstructured data from various sources, including but not limited to WorkDay, GreenHouse, TopFunnel, LinkedIn, Lattice, etc.
- Work closely with people leadership including: HR, Recruiting, Talent Management and more to understand data requirements and deliver reporting and insights to support problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Scope requirements, design and support adoption of People dashboards in WorkDay and Eqtble.
- Translate complex findings, recommendations and data in a compelling and easy-to-understand narrative for all audiences, including executive and non-technical audiences.
- Assess current data and reporting practices and make recommendations to improve on existing processes.
- Conduct ad-hoc reporting to support evolving business needs, insights to influence critical initiatives and support quarterly organizational health reviews.
About You
- Ability to drive meaningful outcomes and tell a story with data. You care deeply about answering the “so what?” question.
- You have 5+ years experience in a data analysis/BI role, preferably in People Analytics, Recruiting and/or HR
- You’re an expert in Google Sheets (pivot tables, macros, visualizations and more) and accomplished in GoogleSuite (including Google Slides)
- Strong experience creating custom dashboards and reports in WorkDay.
- Experience with Recruiting systems such as Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, TopFunnel and more.
- Understanding of SQL, and/or experience with a programming language and sophisticated statistical methods (regressions, random forest, etc.)
