Business Application and Data Analyst

We are currently seeking a Business Application and Data Analyst in Dubai, UAE to join our Business Application team redefine our operations through automation and data and contribute to our digital transformation journey. Develop and implement robust business intelligence systems to support organizational goals. Apply sophisticated analytic techniques to derive actionable insights from data, enabling data-driven decision-making. Support the strategic roadmap for Digital Transformation and Intelligent Automation to drive innovation and efficiency across the organization.

Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Build and implement efficient data analytics and automation solutions within a controlled IA operating and governance, organisational change framework.
• Build reports and dashboards for internal teams; Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data Build presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
• Maintain existing Business Intelligence reports hosted on Power BI cloud platform.
• Participate in the design, creation, and optimization of database objects, such as tables, indexes, views, and stored procedures, using SQL.
• Maintain the existing MEA data mart to collate and integrate current/historical data from various sources/systems like Oracle within the organization.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and deployment.
• Drive the automation culture within the Operation team and support ongoing Digital Transformation initiatives.
• Perform ongoing support of implemented systems, including training new users, keeping documentation updated, solving issues, and regression testing.
• Support the local I&A Ambassadors program by creating and delivering training material on various automation tools and topics to the local ambassadors’ team.
• Respond to requests and address issues raised through the Emerson ServiceNow support platform and ensure they are efficiently led and resolved with the target SLA.
• Collaborate with multifaceted teams located in different world areas.

What do I need to be considered for this role?

• Superb communication skills. Confirmed skills in the competencies of getting things done, interpersonal skills, systems thinking, and continuous learning.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in designing solutions using one or more Intelligent Automation Technologies such as Power Query, Office 365, Power Automate, Power App, Robocorp, etc.
• Solid understanding and working knowledge of SQL Server, SSIS and Data analytics.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience in using ERP/integrated business systems solutions and exposure to the latest Digital transformation trends; Cloud applications, API platforms, Intelligent Process Automation, and Analytics.
• Additional software skills such as Git for version control, Windows Server administration, ASP.Net MVC, Python, Redgate SQL Toolbelt and Azure DevOps or equivalent experience. Experience with Oracle database.
