Intermediate Data Engineer (Lisbon)

YOUR ROLE

• Create and maintain ETL processes using a deep knowledge in Big Data technologies.

• Collaborate technically with the team.

• Understand business needs and be able to translate into technical language.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.

• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.

• Experience working with Agile Methodologies.

• Proficient in creating and optimizing data models to support efficient data retrieval and analytics.

• Experience in gathering and prioritizing data requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Portuguese (Native) and English (Advanced).

• Must have strong knowledge in:

  • Data Warehouse/Data Lake;

  • SQL (Procedure, View, Trigger);

  • Python;

  • Hadoop/Hive/Impala;

  • Scala;

  • Linux/Bash Script and Logs Analysis.

• Nice to have knowledge in:

  • GCP (Cloud Shell, GCS, BQ, CF, Dataflow, Pub/Sub);

  • Terraform;

  • Airflow;

  • Spark / Spark SQL;

  • Data Governance (Metadata, Cataloging);

  • On Prem versus Cloud Data Migration.
