Lead Front End Developer (Data Science & ML Platform)

Project Description

The role will be focused on the SaaS platform that is embedded in clients' products. The goal of the project is to create a handy admin portal that will provide functionality to manage clients' existing cloud products. About 80% of the work is front end related.

What You'll Do

• Take ownership of the user facing development efforts for the project, guiding the team in designing, building, testing, and deploying user experiences that are easy to understand, responsive, and visually appealing;
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and peer teams to help drive the technical strategy and architecture of the project's front-end, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs;
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. Encourage best practices in design, coding standards, and emerging technologies;
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables effectively, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of front-end features and enhancements;
• Work closely with other engineering teams, including back-end developers, data scientists, and UX/UI designers, to integrate front-end components seamlessly into the overall platform;

Job Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in front-end development, with a track record of delivering high-quality user experiences;
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, HTMX, server-side-rendering;
• Experience with any front-end framework: React, Angular, or Vue.js;
• Experience with Golang or knowledge and willingness to learn and work with Go;
• Experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and innovative environment;
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Planning skills to develop feasible roadmaps;
• Passion for AI and data-driven technologies, with a desire to contribute to the advancement of AI workflows and data analytics;
• Level of English – from Upper Intermediate (spoken/written);

Desired Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform;
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira or Trello;
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and experience collaborating with UX/UI designers;
• Understanding of backend development concepts and experience working with RESTful APIs;
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git;
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
