Essential Job Duties
As a Market Research Analyst (Contractor), you'll be responsible for researching, managing, and analyzing key research projects to provide actionable insights. In addition, you'll help drive research operations, from managing our research repository to facilitating participant recruitment to documenting best practices for research. Your efforts will help inform marketing and business decisions, drive winning strategies, and democratize our research program. Your hunger to uncover insights and operationalize our methods will be critical in identifying unique angles and strategic opportunities for growth.

Contract Length: 6 months, with possibility of permanent full time hire
Schedule: Part Time, 20hrs/ per week
Key Responsibilities
- Support high-impact research projects that align with BambooHR's business objectives, assisting from start to finish.
- Draft surveys, discussion guides, and other study types to answer a wide variety of research questions.
- Effectively communicate research findings to various stakeholders through compelling reports and presentations. Communicate in ways that are accessible, easy to understand, and likely to incite action.
- Act as a guide to non-researchers who run their own research projects. Answer questions, review their methodology, and provide advice that improves research quality.
- Support and enhance research operations, such as participant recruitment, vendor management, and documentation.
- Develop standards, templates, and processes for conducting research, from project initiation to insights dissemination.
- Help structure and formalize our self-service/democratized research program, designing guidelines and processes that enhance the effectiveness of research conducted by non-researchers across the company.
- Support the set up and maintenance of a research repository, ensuring reports from researchers and others who do research are accessible, actionable, and effectively communicated across teams.
- Manage participant recruitment, scheduling, consent, and incentive fulfillment.
What You Need to Get the Job Done
- 3+ year of market research or other applicable experience
- Bachelor’s degree in market research, social sciences or another relevant field
- Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (surveys, interviews, etc.)
- Experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Academic and practical experience with a wide array of new product, brand, advertising and customer satisfaction research methods
- Proficiency with research tools such as User Testing, Qualtrics, Typeform, Dovetail, Optimal Workshop, Crayon, & Pendo
