I. Job Summary
The Senior Director of ENP Decision Science will define and deliver the advanced analytics strategy and data science vision within the Enterprise Network Planning function.
Responsible for developing, implementing, and refining an optimization model for enterprise network volume forecasting and planning. For our disposal network this includes modeling disposal volumes flows, both internal and 3rd party, and enabling a model to forecast future capacity constraints and needs. The model would need the capability to use data science to ingest "what if" scenarios to allow forecasting of price/volume sensitivity including "next best alternative" analysis. The model would allow for cost tradeoff analysis for future disposal infrastructure and disposal flow changes to include landfill closures/openings, acquisition modeling, transfer stations closures/openings, and transfer barge and rail capabilities/needs and impacts.
For our hauling operations this model would be used to rationalize current locations, inform where new locations should be built to accommodate growth goals, and enable acquisition facility and cost modeling. This role leads the development, maintenance, and execution of scenarios around the model.
