Pharmacy Data Analyst II - Remote

This position performs complex reporting, analysis, and data validation for pharmacy to inform BCBST of the effectiveness of proposed and current vendor contracts and internal and external programs.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyzing, defining requirements, developing, and validating complex reporting and/or data files necessary to meet business objectives.
  • Performing in-depth analyses, proactively investigating abnormal results, writing descriptive summaries of gathered data, and optimizing delivery of end product.
  • Proactively analyzing changes in business processes and updating reporting/file feeds accordingly.
  • Researching and responding to questions and change requests from business partners.

Job Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors degree in business or healthcare or relevant field or equivalent work experience required

Experience

  • 3 years - Experience with SAS (Base, Enterprise Guide, Studio), SQL, Tableau, or similar experience with programming and/or statistical analysis required
  • 5 years - Reporting, data analysis, or similar experience required.

Skills\Certifications

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles and accountability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Capacity to solve problems and manage multiple assignments with critical deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Adaptive to high pace and changing environment
