FordPro Tech is seeking a talented and experienced Google Cloud Analytics Engineer to join our Analytics product group. As a Google Cloud Analytics Engineer at FordPro Tech, you will be responsible for delivering innovative data science and machine learning solutions to drive business growth and enhance customer experiences.

What you’ll be able to do:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support data analytics and machine learning initiatives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implementing data governance and security best practices to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Optimizing infrastructure and architecture for scalability and performance.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance on engineering best practices.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support data analytics and machine learning initiatives.
The minimum requirements we seek:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g. Data Science, Predictive Analytics, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineer)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data and analytics engineering, with a focus on a Cloud Platform (Google is preferred).
- Previous experience in utilizing data and analytics engineering concepts such as ETL processes, data modeling, data pipelines, and machine learning pipelines.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, and/or Java for data processing and analysis.
Our preferred qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science)
- Proficiency in GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Storage
- Experience leveraging Google Cloud Dataflow for data quality management.
- Experience with Terraform for CI/CD pipeline execution, coupled with Tekton integrated into Git.
- Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark and Apache Beam.
- Familiarity with data warehousing solutions and tools such as BigQuery, Snowflake, and Postgres.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize pipelines for performance and scalability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with large datasets efficiently.
- Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written skills.
- Proactive, great attention to detail, results-oriented problem-solver.
- Ability to work under pressure, establish priorities, and respond with urgency.
- Consensus building and collaborative interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
