Pure Storage is seeking MDM Data Expert to enable master data management (MDM) and Single Source of Truth capabilities. This role will be responsible for gathering data quality requirements and analysis by partnering with business operations and technology teams. Data Analyst is responsible for leading greater maturity in corporate business metrics to enable quality business growth and efficiency decisions.

Job responsibilities include:

• Leads Data Quality initiatives for profiling, cleansing and standardizing Business data (master, reference, & transactions) from multiple diverse business systems.
• Conduct data analysis, business process evaluation, & govern data quality policies.
• Partner with business and technology teams for defining data quality solutions to drive business growth and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Business SMEs, Product owners, & Data Engineers to gather business, data quality requirements, capabilities to mature data & metrics quality.
• Lead business discussions and document data quality requirements, business process, and data flows
• Align with industry point of view to generate business value propositions and challenges.

Skills Required:

• Excellent ability to conduct data & quality analysis.
• Excellent ability to understand business requirements and provide guidance to technical teams on implementing data quality best practices.
• Must have excellent SQL scripting experience.
• Excellent knowledge of core Information capabilities: Management, Data Quality (DQ), Metadata Management, Data Taxonomy, and Data Integration.
• Strong working knowledge and experience in managing Business Glossary, data dictionary, data modelling (logical, physical data models) and Meta-data.
• Good exposure to industry standard business systems and data warehouse capabilities.
• Good exposure to agile project delivery methodologies.

Qualifications 

• Degree in Information Systems or Business decision systems field of study, plus at least 12+ years of experience in MDM
