Job Description

1. Technical Skills:
   1. Expertise in Data Science and Machine Learning: Proficient in leading data science projects, with a deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, data engineering practices, and data visualization.
   2. Proficiency in Google Cloud Services: Strong experience in setting up and using Google Cloud tools such as BigQuery, VertexAI, Looker Studio, etc., for data science product development.
   3. Technical Mentoring: Ability to provide technical mentorship to data scientists, machine learning engineers, and data engineers, through 1-1 coaching sessions as well as team sessions to enhance their technical skills.
   4. Other Tools: Hands on experience in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications
2. Non-technical Skills
   1. Leadership and Team Management: Skilled in managing team performance, optimizing team utilization, and planning team capacity across various engagements. Ability to lead by example and foster a collaborative team environment.
   2. Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both the leadership and team members. This includes articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and conveying project expectations and feedback effectively.
   3. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a proven record of making informed decisions based on data and team inputs.
   4. Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel for work within India (to Pune/Bengaluru) and to Europe as required.

Qualifications

1. 8+ years of experience as Data Scientist
2. Project Pipeline Management: Experienced in handling the entire pipeline of data science projects, including pre-sales activities, pitch deck preparation, and content development.
3. Customer Engagement: Proficient in maintaining strong customer relationships through regular interactions and touchpoints, ensuring high satisfaction and alignment with project goals.
4. Domain Knowledge: Exposure to wholesale/retail domains, with the ability to identify and develop valuable business use cases.
5. Project Planning and Time Management: Capable of proposing and adhering to project timelines after consulting with the development and project management team.
