Cloud Data Delivery Manager - Assistant Vice President

Role Summary & Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Delivery Manager with 15+ years of experience to join our Technology team to drive the implementation and delivery of large scale Cloud Data initiatives. The ideal candidate will have the necessary technology, communication and leadership skills to independently hands-on manage highly visible and complex projects from start to finish.

• Provide technology and delivery leadership to team of ~20 team members (including contractors) in multiple workstreams

• Drive strategic and tactical planning and design sessions and conduct whiteboard sessions with data architects, business users, technology management, data analysts, data engineers and development teams.
• Drive decision-making processes to align with business priorities and objectives related to key solution implementation.
• Establish Risk Excellence via requirements management and estimations, robust planning and dependency management, risk identification and mitigation, milestone and release management on time and within budget
• Hire, nurture and grow technical talent within the team via skill building, backup and succession planning, performance appraisals and coaching

Core/Must have skills

• Deep experience in delivering end-to-end programs on Cloud Data Lake technologies, incl managing requirements, design & implementation, creating roadmap and milestones and implementation plans, risk identification and mitigation and skills/resource management

• Good understanding of Architecture and Design of Cloud Data Platforms

• Excellent communication, presentation, leadership and people management skills

• Executive presence and stakeholder management among diverse business and corporate functions, technology partners and executive management

• Skill building and talent management among team members via trainings, POCs, certifications

Good to have skills

Experience in Finance/Capital Markets domain.
