Job Summary

NetApp is leading the way in how our customers get the most out of their data with industry-leading cloud data services, storage systems, and software. This strategy has translated into exceptional financial performance and stock price appreciation.
The Corporate Strategy team works closely with NetApp’s top executives and our two business units (Hybrid Cloud and Public Cloud Services) to ensure that the company stays on its profitable growth trajectory. The team is playing an active role in some of NetApp’s boldest and most strategic decisions. We exclusively focus on NetApp’s long-range strategy, operational improvement and market intelligence.
As an analyst in Corporate Strategy, you will work on top-of-mind questions directly supporting the CEO and the senior leadership team. These challenging yet intriguing projects include identifying and sizing new markets for NetApp and understanding key technological trends and their implications on NetApp. You will collect and analyze business and market data and turn it into insights to support strategy and business decision.  Specifically, you will need to:
•    Work across the company and across a geographically diverse organization to define and drive strategic analysis.
•    Structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives by developing project plans, gathering and synthesizing data, leading analysis and developing final findings, recommendations and drive results.
•    Have a clear understanding of key business issues through collaboration with product and finance teams and work closely with business leaders, product managers and subject matter experts across the organization to design actionable performance metrics and goals.

Job Requirements

•    Research analysis: Ability to synthesize complex information and generate detailed insights based on secondary research information, with an aptitude for both qualitative and quantitative analysis
•    Proven ability to tell a story through data and present his/her work clearly to the stakeholders and business leaders
•    Ability to quickly understand the key value drivers of a business
•    Excellent analytical abilities: Data driven and understanding of key analytical techniques
•    Strong background of working on MS-Excel; preferred Tableau, PowerBI Skills 
•    Excellent data visualization and presentation skills
•    Preferred familiarity with enterprise IT industry, Familiarity with Storage background 

Education

•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or any other quantitative field. MBA preferred
•    5-8 years of experience with MBA
•    Preferred prior experience in management consulting or similar
