About the role:

The Technology Operations team is currently seeking a Senior Analyst Data Integration to join them on a 5:2 roster based at Perth. Reporting to the Superintendent Data & Integration Platforms, you will be accountable for the design, development, testing, and implementation of data integration interfaces. The incumbent will actively engage in enhancing the performance and capabilities of current interfaces and the overarching integration framework. Additionally, they will offer technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of established integrations.

Duties:

• Undertake analysis of the business requirements, ensure that interfaces are developed to meet these requirements. 
• Organize and lead the gathering of business and functional requirements through established methods such as workshops, individual interviews, and analysis of data.
• Identify areas for improvement or refactoring to utilise improved technology or methods which can improve efficiency or resilience.
• Proactively engage key decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals. 
• Drive improvements to data governance via regular contact with established data owners or by assisting in identifying data owners.   
• Participate in the creation of test plans, execution of testing and validation of test results. 
• Provide system configuration services and skills to support the business units. 
• Stay current with new technologies and techniques in data integration.  

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors and/or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology or Engineering, or equivalent experience. 
• Advanced level of proficiency in SQL and some experience with Python or .Net 
• Professional experience programming in multiple languages eg. Python, SQL, Java, .Net 
• Demonstrable experience in interacting with multiple API’s - REST, SOAP and OData 
• Extensive experience as a data integration developer
• Broad and in-depth experience in extracting and loading data from and to a variety of applications. 
• Proven experience in iterative development. 
• Professional experience working with a cloud integration platform
