We are looking for a talented and experienced Data Architect who specializes in managing and optimizing data architecture to join our team. The primary responsibilities will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions that meet the needs of our internal stakeholders within the organization. Experience with requirements gathering, providing work direction for data management resources, and excellent analytical and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. Job duties would require the candidate to meet with key personnel across multiple business units to understand current state, pain points and the envisioned future state. Responsibilities would also include helping design, develop, and implement new solutions, as well as ongoing management of existing data analytics products. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Semarchy MDM, data warehouse and data lake environments, MS SQL and Oracle databases, PL/SQL, ETL, Python scripting, MS Power BI, and full project lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities: • Master Data Management (MDM): Manage our MDM solution in AWS, to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across the organization. • Data Architecture Design: Design and architect data warehouse and data lake solutions that meet business requirements and support analytical and reporting needs. • Data Quality Management: Design and create data quality rules, reject tables for data steward analysis, and implement merge and survivorship rules for golden record creation. • ETL Development: Develop ETL processes using tools such as Python and PL/SQL to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse or data lake. • Reporting and Visualization: Design and develop reports and dashboards using MS Power BI to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.• Documentation: Create comprehensive design and architecture documents to document data solutions and facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration. • Multi-Disciplinary Role: Act as an architect, support analyst, business analyst, data analyst, data modeler, developer, tester, administrator, and QA resource as needed to ensure the quality delivery of data solutions. • Project Lifecycle Management: Lead the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality data solutions. • Resource Management: Disseminate work to data management resources, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure successful project execution and knowledge transfer. • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Apply excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges and design effective solutions. • Interpersonal Skills and Adaptability: Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members, adapt to changing requirements, and communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
Required Skills and Qualification:• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. • Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role, with expertise in data warehouse, data lake, and MDM solutions.• Strong proficiency in Semarchy MDM, Oracle and MS SQL Server databases, MS Power BI, ETL development, and database management.• Proficiency in Python and PL/SQL. • Familiarity with data quality management, data governance, and data modeling principles.• Security best practice and design • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to adapt to various roles within a project team and effectively communicate with stakeholders. • Experience in mentoring and managing team’s work tasks is highly desirable.NAVISITE - Part of Accenture, is an equal opportunity employer.
