WE WILL COUNT ON YOU:

• Conceptualize and implement a comprehensive, thoughtful, and best-in-class API solutions design based on business requirements.
• Provide technical leadership of software engineers focused on API, enablement technical architecture design, design, development, and delivery.
• Liaison between the business community and the development team
• Strong knowledge of designing API interfaces.
• Strong track record of implementing large scale structured or unstructured databases, orchestration, and container technologies.
• Understand data landscape i.e., tooling, tech stack, source systems etc. and work closely with extended platform teams to improve data integration interfaces.
• Evaluates the information from multiple sources to develop an understanding of the business needs and requests and translate them into application and operational requirements.
• Define high-level application platform architectural guidelines and articulate reasoning and trade-offs for choices to business owners
• Displays outward thinking, develop strategies for the full software development lifecycle of new and emerging technologies and demonstrates viability.
• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for AWS solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix, and document problems, and implement preventive measures
• Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, with an ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity
• Actively contribute toward our culture of continuous learning by proactively identifying and evangelizing best practices globally.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or mathematics
• 10+ years of relevant experience designing and building solutions around open API.
• 5+ years of experience on Rest Architecture
• TOGAF or similar Enterprise Architecture Certification
• Strong knowledge design and architectural solutions
• Hands on experience in developing and deploying services in cloud environment (AWS, Azure )

• Knowledge of application development lifecycle, agile methodology, API best practices and DevOps.
• Experience with JSON, XML, Unit Testing (JUnit, Mockito, Jenkins), CI/CD, Maven, git. AWS OpenSearch, NoSQL, MongoDB, Node.js, java spring.
• AWS Micro services, AWS Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, API Management
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (Python, java, java script, ruby)
• Must have experience working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing expectations and requirements(Agile)

WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT?

• Prior Experience working with Apigee/API IBM or API Manager Solutions.
• Prior experience working in insurance services.
