Senior DevOps Engineers for Data Management Solutions

In this role, you get to:

• Plan the functional and technical design for new features and changes to existing features.
• Create technical specifications and configuration documents for the design.
• Do hands-on software configuration, development, support and upgrade work.
• Write functional and technical documentation.
• Resolve technical and data issues, and fix defects.
• Validate development quality prior deploying into production use.
• Identify continuous improvement ideas.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

• Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, management information systems, or a related field.
• Practical technical working expertise from four (4) or more of the following areas:
• Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud;
• MS SQL / MDS
• Server administration, e.g. MS SQL on Windows, IIS working knowledge
• Cloud infrastructure, storage, and databases e.g. AWS or Azure
• Cloud network architecture, security and networking tools
• Integration with cloud technologies, i.e. Azure Data Factory, AWS integration services, API, ETL, MS SQL SSIS
• Coding, e.g. Python or SQL
• Identity and access management, e.g. Azure Active Directory, SAML
• CI/CD, e.g. Gitlab, Azure DevOps repos & pipes
• Experience in working with data landscapes in organizations: Metadata, reference data, master data, transactional data, structural data, non-structural data, batch/NRT data, data standards, information classification, data privacy regulations.

  • Passion to utilize agile development methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, draw.io).
  • Inbuilt cybersecurity awareness.
  • Ability to work in global multi-cultural team and effectively collaborate within the team.
  • Ability to write technical documents and visualize your technical design.
  • Ability to self-organize and be proactive, seek feedback, be courageous and resilient, and have excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English language, and strong facilitation and communication skills.
