Global Commercial Operations is a department within the Global Service Business area. In close collaboration with global functions and service regions across the globe, we are developing commercial product strategies, commercial business strategies, and day-to-day improvements that support the overall performance of Commercial Service. Vestas has recently implemented Salesforce, and we are now in an even better position to efficiently and accurately work with data-enhancing factual and fact-based business decisions based on continuous improvement initiatives, dialogues, and performance management.
 

Responsibilities
The role reports directly to the Head of Commercial Operations. As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will bring expertise and experience from performance management and process management while having a clear business understanding for developing and driving cross-functional processes impacting performance across business functions. Moreover, you will:

• Oversee the commercial master data structural landscape, ensuring that relevant attention, processes and reports are available for business analytics
• Manage and maintain the commercial reporting landscape
• Support regions and commercial business areas practically, with accurate and relevant business intelligence across our Onshore, Offshore, and Transactional business areas
• Ensure best-in-class commercial reporting landscape by enabling data in close cooperation with our Digital Solutions teams
• Drive best practices by cooperating with sales regions and global commercial teams on analytics and intelligence activities
• Contribute to developing commercial service sales plans and strategic initiatives within Global Service

Qualifications
For this role, we expect that you have:

• 5 - 10 years of highly relevant product, project or process management experience with a preference for renewables
• Master's degrees in Engineering, Business
• Wind industry experience is a benefit but not a prerequisite
• Experience working with IT applications, SAP BI, PowerBI, and Salesforce is a bonus
• Finance or Process management experience and experience working with various stakeholders across different functions
• High analytical skills and ability to extract conclusions from large datasets
• Ability to "connect the dots" and "see the solution"

• Able to translate and convey business and technical requirements back and forth for bridging and building one solution
• Positive and solution-oriented mindset
• Solid communication and presentation skills
• Passionate and highly persistent towards your work where deadlines can be short

Additional information
The position can be in Aarhus or Copenhagen, Denmark.
Moreover, you can expect up to 15 days of travel per year.
