Reporting to the Head of Research Engineering we are looking for a talented Fullstack AI Engineer. We're creating a world where everyone can own, understand, trust and benefit from AI. Join us in building the #OpenMetaverse. Help to push the boundaries of future innovation.

An opportunity to work with cutting edge technology and ground breaking innovation including working on JEN, a product leveraging a universal high-fidelity AI model tailored for text-to-music generation; and DOC, an AI facilitating text-to-3D object generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable and efficient inference pipelines for large-scale generative models.
  • Optimise model performance and scalability for deployment in production environments.
  • Build and maintain web-based applications and APIs for interacting with machine learning models.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including researchers, product owners, and other engineers to integrate generative models into real-world applications.
  • Continuously explore and experiment with new techniques and architectures to improve the performance and quality of generation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning, with proficiency in frameworks such as Pytorch.
  • 5+ years of commercial experience in software development, with a focus on designing and building scalable, high-performance systems.
  • Experience in identifying performance bottlenecks, implementing optimisations, and measuring performance improvements across a variety of applications and platforms.
  • Experience with web development frameworks such as React.
  • Real passion and experience in AI generative area.
