Requirements

  • Conduct advanced data analysis using BI tools and techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive business performance.
  • Interpret complex data sets and present findings in a clear, concise manner to support decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure business performance and track progress towards strategic objectives.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of BI solutions, including data models, dashboards, and reports, to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to optimize BI tool configurations, data pipelines, and system integrations for improved performance and usability.
  • Stay abreast of emerging BI technologies and best practices to recommend enhancements and innovations that enhance the organization's analytical capabilities.
  • Partner with business units to gather and document BI requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational priorities.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and functional requirements for BI solutions, ensuring clarity and completeness.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of BI solutions, including data dictionaries, report specifications, and user guides, to support ongoing operations and knowledge sharing.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and executive leadership, fostering collaboration and alignment on BI initiatives.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, focus groups, and training sessions to gather feedback, promote user adoption, and drive continuous improvement of BI solutions.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and analytical findings to non-technical audiences, tailoring messages to resonate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to promote the adoption of BI solutions and drive organizational transformation.
  • Establish governance frameworks and standards for BI development, deployment, and usage, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and industry best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate BI usage patterns, user feedback, and system performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and refinement.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role, with demonstrated expertise in BI tools and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor junior analysts, lead cross-functional teams, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Certification in BI tools or methodologies (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) is a plus.

Additional Needs:

  • The candidate will be expected to be able to support a variety of responsibilities as listed below. The exact nature of work to be performed will vary from project to project.
  • Must be willing to work various US time zones with willingness to engage with teams from India at other hours of the day.
  • Must be open to travel if need be.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States with no visa sponsorship requirements.
