The Position: 

As a member of our team, you will hold the position of Tender Business Intelligence Analyst. Reporting to the Subchapter Lead Contract & Bid, your primary objective will be to drive continuous improvement through analysis and learning, with the goal of enhancing effectiveness in the Bidding process. You will play a crucial role in identifying critical success factors, underlying patterns, and emerging trends to support the organization's competitive intelligence efforts in both public and private contracting.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Methodology Tender Phase and Post Tender:

  • Develop, communicate, implement, update, and monitor the Tender Phase Methodology within the Customer for Life framework.
  • Evaluate compliance with the Methodology by participating as an observer in various Tender Phases, identifying deviations or gaps, and proposing and implementing improvements.
  • Integrate Tender2Cash with the Tender Phase methodology to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Gather and analyze data and information from both internal and external sources related to public tender market activities.
  • Structure and make this information easily accessible to facilitate analysis and informed decision-making for successful operations.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and participants in the bidding process, identifying their needs and providing relevant information throughout the entire tender lifecycle.
  • Automate data extraction, recording, and visualization processes to maximize efficiency.

Monitoring of the Tender & Contract Management System:

  • Constantly monitor the technical aspects of the information system, maintaining a strong relationship with the system provider.
  • Review and manage user access and permissions to ensure proper system functionality.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of the database.

Training and Support:

  • Organize and facilitate training sessions to enhance user knowledge and proficiency in the information system.
  • Develop comprehensive training materials to support system usage.
  • Provide second-level support to all system users, addressing their queries and concerns effectively.

Monitoring of Competitor Awards:

  • Collect and analyze external data related to competitor activities and awards.
  • Conduct in-depth studies and analysis by product line or specific products of interest.
  • Incorporate relevant data into the organization's information systems to improve decision-making.

Reporting and System Development:

  • Create preconfigured reports tailored to meet the specific needs of users.
  • Design and develop dashboards to provide a visually appealing and user-friendly interface for accessing critical information.
  • Continuously improve and optimize the necessary information systems through testing and refinement.
  • Coordinate the implementation of new releases and updates of the Tender & Contract Management system.

Won&Lost Analysis:

  • Organize and coordinate quarterly analysis sessions to evaluate won and lost opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining the analysis process, conclusions, and action plans for each session conducted.
  • Consolidate general conclusions and develop periodic action plans based on the insights gained from the analysis.
  • Lead closure and analysis sessions for key won and lost cases, providing comprehensive reports to aid decision-making.

Who You Are: 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and analyze complex data and information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and the ability to identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in utilizing information systems and tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of the tendering process and public/private contracting would be an advantage.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
