Hi, is Verónica from CI&T!I am a Talent Attracting Analyst looking for people located in Brazil for a Data Scientist Senior Position to join us!
Responsibilities:- Design and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights.- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their problems and develop data-driven solutions that align with organizational goals.- Clean, preprocess, and ensure the integrity of data for analysis, employing techniques such as imputation, normalization, and transformation.- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and analysis using cloud platforms and services.- Visualize data and analysis results in clear, compelling ways to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.- Continuously monitor model performance and update models as necessary to adapt to new data patterns and business needs.- Explore and integrate new data sources and analytical techniques to improve the quality and value of insights.- Stay current with advances in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, especially applications within the industry. Requirements:- At least 5 years of experience in a Data Science role, with a proven track record of developing and deploying models that have driven business impact.- Strong background in statistics, mathematics, or computer science.- Proficiency in  Python for data analysis.- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas).- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).- Knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with excellent communication skills to translate complex analytical concepts to non-expert stakeholders. Nice to Have:- Experience in the Health Care Sector and Life Sciences Area- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) for data processing and model deployment.- Exposure to big data technologies (e.g. Spark).- Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) or computer vision techniques and their application in real-world scenarios.- Experience with Generative AI technologies and their potential applications in data augmentation and analysis.
