People Data Analyst - Reporting Workstream

We’re looking for a People Data Analyst who is passionate about our mission of Money Without Borders to partner with our Teams across Wise and the People Tribe to drive deeper people data-driven decisions.

In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to work with a rich people dataset and drive actionable insights, which will have a direct impact on how we add value to our Customers and grow as a business.

You'll drive our analytical efforts, help us understand Wisers’ pain-points and where the biggest opportunities lie.  You’ll partner with the People Tribe, the Analytics Squad and each Team globally to bring your insights into real change for our Customers and help drive our mission forward!

Here’s how you’ll be contributing:

  • Gather requirements from each Team and the People Tribe and transform these into a plan of action
  • Drive our People dashboards forward and provide meaningful insights to each Team
  • Create new and engaging ways of visualising People data
  • Support the team to improve our prioritisation framework (we prioritise on initiatives that have the highest payback for Wise) and scale it across the People Tribe
  • Steer and influence the People team’s direction and design KPIs and OKRs
  • Co-own the People data domain and be the point of contact for this part of Wise's data
  • Work closely with your Lead to maintain a healthy pipeline of People Analytics initiatives
  • Support our Senior Data Engineer to build the data infrastructure in Airflow and Snowflake
  • Collaborate with other analysts in other teams to share best practices and learn new methodologies
  • Play a critical role to upskill the analytical capabilities of the People Tribe at scale and ensure that all People Wisers are able to avoid common stats pitfalls and can correctly interpret People data from our self-serve dashboards and people data platforms
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices

A bit about you:

  • You have a background working in similar (People) data-driven roles and 3+ years of experience in analytics
  • You have advanced SQL skills
  • You have experience with data visualisation tools (Looker, PowerBI, Tableau etc.) and demonstrate storytelling ability with data
  • You’ve worked in cross functional teams and can manage senior stakeholders
  • You’re a self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously
  • You are familiar with Python / R

Our People:

At Wise, you’ll be joining a movement of people who believe in a better, fairer, more transparent way of moving money around the world. You’ll collaborate to do your best work and take on problems that no one has looked at before.

If you’re keen to learn, grow, try new things and aren’t afraid of a bold plan, you’ll fit right in.

How we work:

At Wise our strategy emerges from the collective brainpower of all our people, who are organised in dozens of independent, autonomous teams. Teams stay closest to our customers, so they choose what problems to solve and where to spend the most time.

You’ll experience radical levels of ownership and empowerment within your role. Plus the opportunity to see the direct impact of your work on our customers.

We’re people without borders — without judgement or prejudice, too. We want to work with the best people, no matter their background. So if you’re passionate about learning new things and keen to join our mission, you’ll fit right in.

Also, qualifications aren’t that important to us. If you’ve got great experience, and you’re great at articulating your thinking, we’d like to hear from you.

And because we believe that diverse teams build better products, we’d especially love to hear from you if you’re from an under-represented demographic.
