Job Description

We are looking for a Business Partner for our Controlling Remote Team (CTG-R) based in Cluj. The team is part of the central department located in Germany, and it plays an important role in supporting financial planning and controlling operations.

Responsibilities include managing planned production costs, estimating costs for future products, performing investment calculations and handling reporting, forecasting, and ad-hoc reports. The role also involves participating in the development and improvement of existing controlling processes.

What you will do:

• Act as a Business Partner in Financial Controlling for a Bosch entity located off-site (Germany, China, India, Japan, etc.);
• Conducting administrative activities in IBM Planning Analytics;
• Trouble shooting IBM Planning Analytics server stack overflow errors;
• Month-end closing & year-end closing activities in reporting system (IBM Planning Analytics);
• Support activities for on-site business partners;
• Support activities for the Process Solution team (Management of Costs and Resources tool – MCR);
• Preparation of automated Power BI reports;
• Collaboration with clients to develop report designs and business requirements;
• Optimization of existing applications;

Qualifications

• University/College Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics;
• Minimum 3 years working experience in Audit, Controlling or Finance;
• Good understanding of accounting processes;
• Advanced MS Office user knowledge (particularly Excel);
• SQL knowledge would be a plus;
• Experience working with SAP or other ERP Systems, IBM Planning Analytics, Power BI;
• Possessing a continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn;
• A well-developed approach to problem solving and decision making;
• Having a structured and analytical way of working;
• Reliable, independent, team-oriented, able to work in an international environment;
• Very good English (written and spoken);

Nice to have:

• German knowledge would be an advantage;
