POSITION:  Senior Data Scientist

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Position will work closely with engineers, analysts and product managers to develop statistical or machine learning models to enhance Restaurants products; collaborate with engineers and other product engineering teams to perform data acquisition and ETL; write, deploy and maintain models as production quality code; understand and solve complex business problems; implement and optimize product and marketing capabilities in areas such as ad targeting, list rankings, propensity modeling, segmentation, personalization and recommendations; conduct data modeling and analysis projects to deliver insights and recommendations to the business.

REQUIREMENTS: The position requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered, or in a related position. Experience must include the following: demonstrable experience using SQL and R; demonstrable experience using Python or Java; demonstrable experience building dashboards using Tableau, R or D3; demonstrable experience with data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Apache Hive; demonstrable experience with big data technology such as Hadoop MapReduce, or Spark; demonstrable experience designing and deploying low-latency machine learning classifiers and regression models into a production environment.
