Data Analyst Intern

This is a full time 8-week paid internship with a potential for further career growth in Telesign.

Summary

As a Data Analyst Intern you will learn how to gather data from various sources and interpret it using data analysis tools and techniques to provide meaningful information and insights to help businesses make better-informed decisions. Additionally, you will be involved in automation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor Product Performance trends and provide insights to support decisioning process to Messaging/Customer Operations Teams.
• Develop and maintain Tableau/Excel Dashboards and other business intelligence reports and visualizations.
• Develop structured analytics, tools and data models to address business problems on an ongoing and ad hoc basis.
• Work with teams across the organization to drive the automation of tasks and processes, or otherwise add value to the team with data-driven decision-making mindset.
• Analyze data for trends and patterns and interpret data with a clear business objective in mind.
• Impact the bottom line: Identify problems, develop ideas and propose solutions within differing situations requiring analytical, evaluative or constructive thinking in daily work and for assigned projects.
• Manipulate large data sets and use them to identify trends and reach meaningful conclusions.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or final year of Bachelor Studies) in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or similar
• Effective cross-functional collaboration and attention to detail
• Intermediate Proficiency in Excel
• Team player, accountable, reliable, consistent, strong work ethic, focused, and organized
• Exposure to either VBA/SQL/Tableau/Power BI is a plus
• Fluent in English, verbal and written
• Good presentation skills
