To complete our creative and dynamic team in Lausanne, we are seeking a

Data Analyst Intern

3 to 6 months. Starting date: as soon as possible

Your role:

As a Data Analyst Intern, you will be part of the Operation team and will be reporting to the Quality Manager. Your mission will be to monitor key quality performance indicators, to report them internally to various stakeholders in a clear, comprehensive, visual manner. You will be working on data structure, efficiency and consistency of data acquisition & enrichment to reinforce our continuous improvement journey.

What you will own:

  • Retrieving data via ERP/CRM system, gathering and enabling the high-quality data requirements
  • Support the quality manager in maintaining high quality data, with focus on customers originating data, detects errors & provides solutions to correct them
  • Being able to work independently with a focus on data analysis, trend assessment and interpretation to support quality engineering, plant troubleshooting and customer support
  • Writing reports summarizing the latest trend development, detailing results and findings from data interpretation.
  • Improving current KPI reports, proposing and implementing new KPI reports
  • Building new dashboards based on data from various systems
  • Support ad hoc reporting requirements & system integration enhancements
  • Work with the quality engineer on various data qualification & enrichment projects to enhance reporting solutions to ensure a good understanding and a good use of data internally

Requirements

Your profile:

  • Currently studying a Master’s degree in Business Administration, engineering or equivalent
  • Strong interest in data analysis required, ability to tell a story based on analyzing different sources of data.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and Google tools including strong understanding of macros.
  • Experience in building Dashboards in a dashboard & reporting system (eg Tableau).
  • Experience in relational data modeling is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written), French is a plus.
  • You are eager to learn new concepts, skills, and tools that you might need to complete your assignments.
  • You are creative, reliable, willing to perform and have a structured working style.
