ABOUT THE ROLE:

Key responsibilities include:

• Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques
• Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems.
• Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.
• Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner.
• Undertake pre-processing of structured and unstructured data.
• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.
• Present information using data visualization techniques.
• Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams.

Requirements

Other qualifications include:

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role (1+ year of experience).
• Good communication and reporting skills to present numbers and statistics clearly & simply.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Data-oriented personality & Analytical mind.
• Flexible self-learner that can adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving aptitude.
• Highly collaborative with a can-do attitude.
• Proven ability in working under high pressure, target-oriented with a successful track record.
• Knowledge with OKRs and how to achieve results within a specific budget.
