About the role: 

We’re looking for a Machine Learning Solutions Engineer, who can work closely with sales leads to understand customer needs, present our solutions and define a solution to meet those needs.  Machine learning experience is a must.  In this role you’ll be the primary technical point of contact for enterprise customers and the chief technical liaison to your sales representative.

Responsibilities: 

• Present to customers
• Lead proofs of concept for potential customer projects
• Define solutions for customer needs
• Understand our products and solutions 
• Get quickly up to speed as our products change over time
• Meet with customers and build strong relationships with technical counterparts on their teams
• Fine tune models
• Understand the customer’s needs and whether our technologies are capable of solving those challenges
• Deliver presentations and talks with customers
• Deliver webinars

Qualifications: 

• 3+ years working as a ML engineer covering a highly technical set of products
• Machine learning experience is a must, especially training and deploying models
• Able to quickly learn challenging new technologies
• A broad and diverse background of various technologies, such as scripting languages and or systems administration, devops, and/or MLOps 
• Knowledge and experience with Python, the scientific Python stack (such as Scikit-learn and NumPy), and ML frameworks such as PyTorch and JAX.
• Able to pick up new technologies quickly through self-study
• Good at demonstrating new technologies
• Strong at working with a wider technical team to scope work, define it and understand next steps
• Good public speaker and able to deliver a great presentation
• Capable of creating great presentations from scratch or refining them based on non-verbal and verbal feedback from customers on whether the message is addressing their pain points, needs and desires
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Linux and command line tools
• Experience writing good technical blog posts is a big plus
• Experience with Kubernetes is a plus
• Working on large scale machine learning projects is a plus
• Solid interest and experience to work with generative AI models such as Stable Diffusion or large language models (GPT and variants) is a big plus
• Technical writing and documentation skills
