About the team

The Retail Tribe is transforming the current retail tools and infrastructure into one of the most contemporary tech stacks in Retail. Owning the designs, builds, integrations and running of technology across all retail products and functions, the tribe are transforming key Retail capabilities spanning Sourcing, Planning, Forecasting, Buying, Merchandising and Pricing, as well as the Product journey from initial setup to publish.

About the role

Working with the Principal Data Engineer and other Engineers in your Squad, you'll be working on robust, well-tested and well-documented solutions deployed in a cloud-based environment.

You'll be involved in the analysis, mapping and development of data solutions for deployment to our Databases.

About you

We focus on attracting good all-round people to the business, as opposed to basing it purely on a technical skill set. Our cultural approach to people is just as important as the technical approach to problem solving. Some experience in certain areas will be required, to be able to carry out the role efficiently, so a few have been listed below:

• Some experience with Python or similar programming languages
• Cloud technology experience (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of NoSQL and Relational Databases
• SQL Scripting experience
