Job Description

This internship will support data mining and reporting for our Airborne and Sensors & Fire Control Business Units. The intern will be mentored by the Mission Assurance Manager and coached by Data Analyst and Quality Engineer in the Quality Department.

Specific tasks include:

• Organizing product test data from various sources in Excel for statistical analysis.
• Using basic statistical analysis to investigate historical data analysis.
• Training on existing data collection system, Oracle will be provided.
• The intern will also be trained in Qlikview, dashboard and data analysis.
• Liaison between Mission Assurance group and the production floor.
• Will be asked to collect data and assist in measurement system analysis.
• The intern will be working in Visio, Word, PowerPoint and simulations in Excel, for which training will also be provided.
• Training operators and writing simple instructions for special projects will be required.
• Process mapping and assisting on kaizen events for major improvements will be expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a student currently enrolled in a college degree program.
• Various degrees will be considered.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Excel skills required.
• Ability to research required.
