About the Role:
We are developing machine learning models, BI insights dashboards and other data driven approaches to accelerate our disruption of the traditional debt collection industry. 
By utilising the rich datasets we have accumulated from communicating with our customers via digital-first channels and other innovations, we are able to efficiently deliver significantly better results compared to our peers.
Be part of this exciting journey as an analytics engineer in our Analytics & Insights team working with our data analysts and data engineers to develop robust data pipelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop data pipelines using Python and associated orchestration tools and processes.
• Deploy data pipelines following best practice DevOps principles and incorporating automated testing.
• Work with key stakeholders to perform data analysis and investigations, including presenting key insights to business users to support data-driven decision making.
• Drive a culture of continuous analytics improvement to advance data literacy across the organisation.
• Be a team player, foster a speed-oriented culture in our data team and help to cultivate a fast-growing team.
• Work autonomously and make decisions collaboratively, within a team that will support and challenge you as you grow and develop.

Experience and Skills

• Must Have


• Strong development skills in Python
• Experience writing SQL queries for extracting and processing data
• Experience with data structure and data modelling, as well as translating business requirements to fit the purpose
• Experience using Git version control
• Comfort working within a fast-paced environment where priorities may change frequently


• Nice to Have


• Experience deploying data pipelines following best practice, including writing automated tests
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Dagster and data processing frameworks
• Experience working with event-oriented data structures
• Experience working with BI tools (in particular Tableau)
• Familiarity with data transformation tools such as dbt
• Familiarity with Snowflake
• Familiarity with AWS (or other cloud platforms)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to understand and explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
