Data Visualization Intern

Company Description

The Bosch Center for Artificial Intelligence (BCAI)  develops internal data products that serve Bosch business units in  domains like Manufacturing, Finance and, IoT. Our products  require intuitive user interfaces and visualizations. This internship requires a candidate with experience creating web-based user interfaces and data visualizations.

Job Description

• Develop visualizations to display descriptive and predictive statistics.
• Work closely with data scientists to define and interpret results from various data mining algorithms
• Create intuitive mock-ups and UX designs
• Design and implement data models and dashboards to visualize large data sets

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing BS or Masters in Computer Science or related field  
• Prior experience in data visualization and UX design
• Visualization tools: Tableau,
• Big Data tools: Hadoop, Spark
• Familiarity with concepts like REST, Object oriented programming, User credential/login management (Kerberos) etc.
• Front end web programming: E.g. HTML, CSS, Javascript, Angular JS, D3, ReactJS etc.
• Back end web programming: E.g. NodeJS, Flask, Ruby etc.

Additional Information

• Duration: 3-6 months

• The U.S. base salary range for this intern position is $22.00-$51.00 hourly. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, type of degree, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, type of position, job location, etc. Your Hiring Manager can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process
