Job Description

As Data Scientist & Business analytics champion, the individual's primary focus will be on applying data mining techniques and doing statistical & deep analysis of business data. He/She will be responsible to build high-quality new-age machine learning methods & Data science models and deliver excellent value to business users of Western Digital. 

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist/Data Analyst.Experience in data mining.
• Real-time project knowledge, Data science model deployment & model training experience is mandatory.
• Experience in building & analyzing Regressive/time series algorithms. Precise understanding of the built logic and understanding of the outcomes.
• Expert in Python programming language.
• Experience with the Dataiku platform is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with R, Java, React JS, or Vue JS is an asset.
• Experience in using any one business intelligence tool (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) 
  Knowledge of working with big data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop)

Edu Qualifications: 

B.E/BTech in Computer science or Equivalent. (or) MSc Computer Science/Data science or a similar field of study.
