Job Description

Analytics at Wolt is a business-critical team that covers three different areas — data science, product data analytics, and business intelligence. The complexity of online delivery, differences in the economics and dynamics of the cities we operate in and vast amounts of data make our work both challenging and so interesting!

Now we are looking for three Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developers to join us in Helsinki or Berlin.

A look into the Analytics team at Wolt

Our BI Developers are embedded in Wolt product/business teams. That helps to focus on a specific area together with cross-functional teams. Hence, BI Developers at Wolt closely collaborate with Product Leads, Engineers, Designers, and Product Data Analysts, fuelling the company's growth by making data understandable and actionable. 💪

Your daily work will include:

• Interpreting the needs and requests of our internal stakeholders and transforming them into actionable data. 
• Developing reporting as a whole, from understanding the needs of the business to providing easily understandable and actionable data. 
• Working on our centrally maintained Looker data integrations, data pipelines, data models, and dashboards. You'll get to utilize our modern BI stack as part of your work (Python, Looker, Snowflake, Airflow, AWS, Kafka, Github).

You can be based in one of our tech hubs in Helsinki or Berlin, or you can work remotely anywhere in Finland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, and Estonia now and in the future. Read more about our remote setup here.

Qualifications

Since the Analytics team supports our internal stakeholders, we are looking for someone who has experience in interpreting business needs, as well as possesses great communication skills.

At Wolt, we use Snowflake as our data platform and Looker as the BI tool. In addition to Looker (or Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense) and Snowflake, you will also work on our data pipelines, so skills in tools such as Airflow, Python, AWS, Kafka, or similar are required. Also, you’ll need strong SQL skills to be able to transform data into desired structures.
 
As Wolt is an international company, our only language requirement is advanced English. You should feel comfortable using English in all work-related situations: from explaining BI-related solutions to your stakeholders to documenting your work.
