The HR Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, including overseeing recruitment and onboarding processes, supporting accounts for payroll, managing leave and enforcing company policies and practices. The HR Manager will also be required to assist the Sales department with onboarding clients and other tasks as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily workflow of the HR team and department
  • Partner with leadership team to understand and execute the organisation’s HR and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention and succession planning
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the hiring managers, ensuring clear communication and alignment on recruitment processes and timelines
  • Design the compensation and benefits plan with senior management
  • Maintain compliance with local employment laws and regulations, recommend best practices, review policies
  • Oversee and optimise our talent acquisition process 
  • Review and optimise our onboarding processes
  • Liaise with client stakeholders to ensure transparency and client satisfaction
  • Manage HR issues in accordance with company policy
  • Provide support and guidance within the company in relation to HR issue
  • Produce regular reports and metrics to assess performance of HR team and give company overview
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations
  • Manage learning and development plans and initiatives to provide internal development opportunities for staff
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous feedback and recognition
  • Plan, organise, and host monthly virtual social events to foster team cohesion and maintain a positive remote work culture

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Skills:
  • Outstanding interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent English
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Delegation skills and ability to promote autonomy in team member
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn quickly and autonomously
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in utilising ATS platforms 
Experience:
  • 5 years experience in HR management 
  • Hands-on experience recruiting for cutting-edge technologies (Python, Javascript, AI, ML, AWS)
  • Dealing with full recruitment lifecycle
  • Experience with client relationships
Knowledge:
  • Familiar with recruitment processes 
  • Active on the international market
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Familiar with best practices in HR management
  • Data driven reporting
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
