WHERE YOU WILL WORK
This is a hybrid position, working from home Monday and Friday, in-office Tuesday through Thursday. Regular schedule 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday.
Office is located at our headquarters in Lake Nona - Orlando, FL.
WHO YOU ARE
The ideal candidate will leverage their analytical skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large sets of data to improve demand forecasting accuracy. This role is critical in ensuring that our supply chain processes are optimized to meet customer demands effectively.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to improve demand forecasting accuracy.
- Analyze large datasets (POS, ERP) to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform demand planning decisions.
- Continuously refine and validate forecasting models based on new data and changing market conditions.
- Create and maintain data pipelines and automated reporting systems to support demand planning activities.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to support demand planning and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to integrate business insights into demand forecasts.
- Monitor and report on forecast accuracy, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis on forecast errors and variances, recommending adjustments to improve accuracy.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in demand planning and data analytics.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in demand planning or a related field within retail or manufacturing.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel).
- Experience with demand planning software, Anaplan will be a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- APICS certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP).
