Think Silicon develops and licenses high-performance, ultra-low power Graphics Processing Units (GPU’s) and display controller technology for wearables, IoT, home appliances etc. Think Silicon's ambition is to become the leading low-power mobile graphics company in the world!

Based on our current growth we are now looking to expand our team!  We are currently looking for a GPU AI Architect Manager to join our team.

We offer a very generous re-location package to help you move/return to Greece.

The candidate will benefit from the new foreign tax residence incentive, granting an income tax exemption of 50%.

General Profile:

Think Silicon Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced GPU AI Architect Manager to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GPU architecture, AI Accelerators, system-on-chip (SoC) design, and leadership. As a GPU Architect Manager, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge GPU and AI IP technologies that will be integral to our products.

 You will work cross-functionally to define compute, memory, and power requirements for these Graphics and AI use cases to help guide the hardware and software implementation decisions for future generations of devices. Once defined, you will follow through to ensure proper implementation of these use cases to ensure our product deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the GPU architecture team in designing innovative GPU and AI solutions providing technical leadership and mentorship to team members.

  • Work in synergy with interdisciplinary teams overseeing Hardware and Software to guarantee seamless system integration, while also partnering with a University Research team engaged in pioneering research

  • Conduct research and development for next-generation GPU technologies. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in GPU and AI architectures.

  • Drive the development of GPU performance models building functional and performance models, in C/ C++, along with test plans to validate the features of the design.

  • You will be driving architectural, and plan features in concert with software, hardware, and verification teams to implement the next generation of embedded GPUs and AI Processor.

  • You will analyze workloads for new Graphics and AI features and analyze their behavior and performance.

Required Skills:

We expect a candidate to have the following skills:

  • BA/BS or higher degree in Microcomputer Engineering or equivalent experience required.

  • Design or Applications background on GPU, CPU, DSP

  • 10+ years of knowledge of CPU/GPU/DSP/NPU design in any of the following subjects: Memory System, embedded CPU, Custom ISA

  • Knowledge of AI and Compute API's (Tensorflow, OpenCL, CUDA, Vulkan) is highly useful.

  • Creation of System Models using High Level System Description Languages (C/C++  or HLS)

  • Linux environment, shell programming, revision control systems and scripting (bash/tcshell, TCL, Perl, Python)­­

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Graphics, AI or CPU Processor designs is a big plus

  • Experience with SystemC
