Job Summary:

Within the broader CCB D&A team, the Focused Analytics Solutions Team (FAST) is a centralized team that develops and executes actionable data science and analytical solutions while placing a premium on creative, practical problem solving and superior client interactions. An equally important part of the FAST mission is to facilitate classroom and apprenticeship style training and development for the next generation of data and analytics talent.

Job Responsibility: 

  • Building an in-depth understanding of the business you are supporting, the problems they are trying to solve for, and the data assets available. 
  • Collecting and cleaning data from diverse data sources, locating new data sources 
  • Building and testing different approaches   (e.g., automation, visualization, descriptive analytics, advanced analytics) to solving business problems, supporting the plan to operationalize and scale prototypes
  • Effectively communicating proposed solutions and data-driven insights to your project team and stakeholders
  • Expanding the technical toolkit that Chase uses to solve analytical problems by networking with and learning from experts across the Firm about new, cutting-edge techniques and technologies followed by thorough testing and evaluation in utilizing these approaches for project work

 

We’re looking for highly motivated team players with a passion for applied data science and the initiative and insight to develop innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • 8 - 11 years of experience in  Data science  industry
  • Outstanding analytical, quantitative, problem solving and communication abilities 
  • Experience in the following statistical software packages: SAS, Python or R
  • Familiarity with Data Visualization tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, QlikView, etc. (certification preferred)
  • Familiarity with SQL, RDBMS/NOSQL concepts
  • Experience with MS Excel
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques, predictive modeling and machine learning
