Job Responsibilities:

• Engage with stakeholders (operational managers, business leaders, or executives) to understand the key business question being addressed through analytics and machine learning. Where needed, lead discovery sessions and requirements workshops for business users, and use both business and information technology tools to evaluate in-scope value streams, business processes, or procedures.  Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions / strategies.
• Develop means and methods of capturing, processing, analyzing, and reporting on relevant data.  Identify data sources; collect data through manual or automated means; source missing data; clean, transform, and organize data into usable format/structure.  Where needed, develop, implement, and maintain databases or data systems.
• Identify and analyze trends and patterns using statistical and machine learning tools, generate information and insights from data sets to answer key business questions.  Design, develop, and deploy reports and dashboards (data visualization), and generate business presentations and formal written reports to communicate results of data analysis.
• Provide leadership to Data Analysts with regard to data management and analysis approach/framework; implement best practices & standards and drive continuous improvement in Data Analytics team; provide coaching/mentoring, administrative support, and performance management.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or Engineering 
• Certification in Power BI, SQL, or statistical programming languages
• At least 4 years of experience in similar or related capacity (data science) in a multi-national company
• Advanced proficiency in SQL (MSSQL, Oracle, Impala, etc.) and related programming extensions
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI or other interactive data visualization software
• Advanced proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other MS Office productivity tools
• Working knowledge of programming languages (Python, R, etc.) for statistical analysis 
• Experience with any Artificial Intelligence area (Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing).
