We are looking for a highly skilled Data Architect/Solution Architect with 8-10 years of experience to join our team. As a vital part of our Data Engineering department, you will design, develop, and implement comprehensive data solutions tailored to our clients’ evolving needs. You will work closely with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient, and robust data architectures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in data solutions and coding.
  • In-depth knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), data warehousing concepts, and data management principles.
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect, Solution Architect, or similar role, with a strong background in designing and implementing data solutions.
  • Deep understanding of data modeling techniques, database design principles, and data management concepts.
  • Experience with on-premise data warehouse solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with data integration tools, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing, datalake, and lakehouse solutions.
  • Experience migrating from legacy systems to cloud-based modern data stacks.
  • Familiarity with Data Fabric and Data Mesh architecture patterns.
  • Proficiency in building data quality frameworks and using data quality tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical data solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Databricks/Spark, DBT, and cloud-specific DWH).
  • Understanding of data governance tools and services like Alation, Atlan, or Azure Purview.
  • Experience in project management and Agile methodology.
  • Presales experience in data solutions.
  • Relevant certifications in data management or architectures (e.g., AWS Data Analytics, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DE) are a plus.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop data models for proof-of-concepts to showcase the art of the possible.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and platforms to support data management, analytics, and reporting needs.
  • Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality, consistency, security, and compliance.
  • Lead the design and implementation of data pipelines for acquiring, processing, and transforming data from diverse sources in batch and real-time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide strategic guidance on data-related initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data architectures, processes, and standards.
  • Oversee and provide solutions to complex technical problems by challenging traditional technical assumptions.
  • Participate in architectural reviews, technical discussions, and decision-making processes related to data architecture and solutions.
  • Engage in client meetings and presentations to articulate the value proposition of our data solutions.
  • Conduct technical workshops and discovery sessions with clients to gather detailed requirements, address technical queries, and provide expert advice.
  • Develop and present technical proposals, including architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and solution blueprints.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop competitive and compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to data management, analytics, and cloud computing.
